OZZY And SHARON OSBOURNE To Attend PRIDE OF BRITAIN Awards
November 6, 2006Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne will be among over 100 stars attending the the Daily Mirror's Pride Of Britain awards at London Television Centre, according to icBirmingham. They will join Tony Blair and the Prince of Wales as they pay tribute to the country's unsung heroes.
Pop princess Kylie Minogue, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, will also make a rare appearance as she continues her fight against cancer.
The awards ceremony, which is now in its eighth year, honours some of the country's bravest and most inspirational people.
This year's winners, who were chosen from 20,000 nominations, include an eight-year-old boy who has endured 130 operations, and a 12-year-old girl who has raised close to a £1 million for the hospital, which saved her life.
The Pride of Britain awards will be broadcast on U.K. television on Tuesday, November 7 at 9:00 p.m. on ITV.
